Holidays are around the corner and it’s never too early to start updating your wishlist for this winter. Santa has some financial management to do to see what he can get you.

As a rule of thumb, my suggestion is to be versatile, to go small without being too modest and to go big without being greedy. It should work.

And now, without further ado, let’s get straight to business:

1) Timberland Brogue Boots

Adding a little class to the swag of the original Timberland boots, these limited edition Brogues are quite a gem. Have them on top of your wishlist this year: they’re accessible but they’re going to be hard to find (sold out online, sorry).

2) Mikiya Kobayashi’s UA1 dining/ping-pong table

Priced at about $6,500, we’re almost touching the greedy line with this one, but a man can dream, right?

Let’s be honest thought, this exquisite table is a work of art. It can be used as a dining table and turned into the most elegant ping-pong table you’ve ever touched. Comes in handy for Thanksgiving, doesn’t it?

3) A good ol’ bottle of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon

You’re gonna have a hard time finding it because it solds out almost immediately as it becomes available in stores. But it’s well worth it, being known as one of the finest bourbons in the world.

So even if you do, even if you don’t get lucky this season, put it on your birthday wishlist as well.

4) A pair of Vuarnet‘s Glacier 1957 Limited Edition Sunglasses

In case you wanted to rock the slopes this winter, Vuarnet is producing the Glacier 1957 as a limited edition version evoking the original, in order to celebrate their 60th anniversary.

If you overspent on the ski trip or you don’t wanna cross the greedy line, you can try their younger, cheaper brother, the Vuarnet Ice.

5) A Man and His Watch by Matt Hranek

Mr Porter said this about it:

“A grand testimony to the idea that, rather than just telling the time, a watch can serve as a marker of a particular moment or memory. . . . Sumptuously photographed.”

According to Condé Nast Traveler, where he’s the men’s style editor, Matthew Hranek is a full-time traveler, explorer, eater, and drinker. He is also a part-time photographer, filmmaker & blogger. Cool guy.

Hurry and you may still find a copy on Barnes&Noble.

6) The Bell Jar Table Lamp

If you’re into interior design and especially into the industrial side of it, you’ll want this on your winter wishlist.

Made in Nashville, TN with a solid American Walnut base and an Edison style bulb, the Bell Jar Lamp looks smart, warm and cozy.

Get it here.

7) The Blue Lagoon Seiko Prospex ‘Turtle’

If you’re the type of guy who thinks of summer, white sand beaches and turquoise water more often than not, this dive watch may be the right gift for you.

It looks great, it’s affordable ($600 more or less) and it’s reliable. The Seiko Prospex (standing for Professional Specifications) are notorious for being some of the best tool watches around, according to Hodinkee.

Well, what do you think? Aren’t these fabulous?

If you think so, don’t keep it to yourself. Share this wishlist with your buddies. If 2017 wasn’t your year, maybe a friend will be able to buy the Kobayashi ping pong table that you can then also enjoy playing (or eating) on.
