In my continuous search for inspiring places and people, I recently stumbled upon some photographs from The Be Tulum Hotel, located in the Yucatán Península in the state of Quintana Roo, southeastern México, on the northern border of the biosphere reserve of Sian Ka’an.
Built by the sea-cliffs, Be Tulum is nestled between the white sand outlining, the pristine beaches of the Caribbean sea and the lush tropical jungle.
There are 64 exclusive suites between the jungle, white sand and the sea, constructed with native materials, comfortable and sophisticated interior, designer furniture and private pools.
And wait until you take a look at the spa… or the Michelin-star restaurants.
Yäan Wellness Energy Spa is located on the jungle side of Be Tulum hotel and offers a wide array of services such as healing, rejuvenation and deep transformation in a magical, luxurious and organic setting.
Explore the local cuisine by trying one many raw plates marinated in fresh citric juices, such as Mandarin Ceviche, the vegetable Carpaccio or a selection of cold soups & salads, each complemented with tasty variations for individual textures and flavors of exotic sophistication.
There is also the Ocumare Restaurant, created by award-winning Michelin Star Chef Mauricio Giovanini, which brings the first shared dining concept to Tulum, with a dramatic and tantalizing menu of small dishes inspired by flavors from around the world featuring Indian, Moroccan, Argentinian and Spanish cuisine.
Ocumare’s name is derived from a foreign cacao seed, whose finesse surpassed boundaries and changed Mexican cacao culture forever, attributed to its genuine character and nature. Such is the mission at Ocumare Restaurant, to share the highest quality of our foreign roots and world travels and enhance your culinary experience.
