This is a very good example of mixing the old with the new. It has the feeling of a Parisian apartment (and I am almost certain it is one). The hand carved fireplace and the golden mirror frame as well as the carvings on the walls and doors go very nicely with the modern pieces such as the white armchairs and the kaki sofa. There are three different glass tables and I find this combination of shapes very interesting. And I love the symmetry from this point of view. The lamp adds up to the contemporary feeling and the diffused light contributes to the intimate atmosphere. It’s the city of love after all.
