I like the idea of an open space like this a lot. It makes me feel comfortable and it could be easily be transformed into a work space, in case you work from home. You can also read in one of the three different armchairs on the left side or have a business meeting in the area on the right. And there is a fireplace. Right in the middle of the room. Plus some sort of storage upstairs.
